INDO-WESTERN FUN!

Throughout our wedding, we’re celebrating the beautiful blend of our two cultures and welcome traditional wear from all of our friends and family. We encourage everyone to explore the best of what India and/or the West has to offer.

Each event will have a specific color palette you can dress for, if you’d like. While not required, we’d love for guests to embrace the themes to help create an unforgettable atmosphere across each celebration. We kindly ask guests to avoid neon or overly bright shades.

If you’re wondering whether Indian clothing is welcome even if you are not Indian — the answer is YES, absolutely! This celebration is about two cultures coming together, and we encourage everyone to join in the fun.

Not sure what to wear? Dress to impress in whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident. Feeling more daring? Go all out — we’d love to see your creativity and personal style shine, whether traditional, modern, or a blend of both.

Details for each event are listed below.

Morning ceremony

Semi-Formal / Formal — Earthy Elegance

Join us for a morning celebration inspired by the warmth of nature and the beauty of our blended cultures. We invite guests to embrace an Indo-Western aesthetic with elegant semi-formal to formal attire in rich, earthy tones.

Think forest greens, maroons, terracotta, browns, warm tans, creams, and subtle gold accents — colors that feel timeless, romantic, and refined.

Guests are welcome to wear:

South Indian attire such as Kanjeevaram sarees, silk or cotton-silk sarees, half-sarees, or traditional Kannadiga styles, along with kurta sets and veshti/dhoti

North Indian attire such as sarees, lehengas, anarkalis, sharara sets, or kurta sets with churidar, dhoti pants, or jackets

Indo-Western inspired looks: Sarees with modern drapes, lehengas styled with contemporary cuts, or classic suits and dresses elevated with Indian fabrics, embroidery, or detailing.

Western formal or semi-formal attire such as dresses, suits, jumpsuits, or tailored separates with warm, natural tones and elegant silhouettes

Flowing fabrics and rich textures such as silk blends, cotton silks, linen, chiffon, organza, or other lightweight fabrics perfect for a morning celebration

Gold jewelry, metallic details, embroidery, or subtle embellishments to complement the earthy palette
